What does HubSpot's AI cost, and what does it need?
HubSpot sells its sales AI inside Sales Hub seats plus a monthly allowance of HubSpot Credits. The Sales Hub pricing page lists Starter at $7 and $20 per seat per month, Professional at $90 and $100, and Enterprise at $150, and it does not say which price goes with which billing option. Included credits are 500 a month on Starter, 3,000 on Professional and 5,000 on Enterprise. Extra credits cost $0.010 each, and unused credits do not roll over. Professional carries a required onboarding fee of $1,500 and Enterprise $3,500 (HubSpot, Sales Hub pricing, read 26 October 2026).
HubSpot's AI page says the Agent Hub is included in all Starter, Professional and Enterprise editions, and that many AI features and agents run on credits. The page gives no credit cost per action. HubSpot's help article points to a separate Credits Rate Sheet for those costs and says credit limits are not turned on by default (HubSpot, AI products, read 26 October 2026; HubSpot knowledge base, last updated 16 September 2026, read 26 October 2026).
| Item | Calculation | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Professional seats, per month | 10 seats x $90 to $100 | $900 to $1,000 |
| Professional seats, per year | $900 to $1,000 x 12 | $10,800 to $12,000 |
| Required onboarding, once | Listed price | $1,500 |
| Included credits, per month | Listed allowance, Professional | 3,000 |
| Cost of 5,000 extra credits | 5,000 x $0.010 | $50 |
Seat cost is the visible part. The open cost is how many credits your agents burn, because HubSpot publishes the allowance and the price per credit but not the credits an action uses on the pages we read.
What does HubSpot's sales AI do?
HubSpot describes a Prospecting Agent that "watches accounts for signals that they're ready to buy and reaches out automatically," and says reps can approve CRM updates and follow-up drafts after every meeting. It also lists Smart Deal Progression, which suggests next steps after each call (HubSpot, AI products, read 26 October 2026). The page quotes two HubSpot figures for customers: 65% more sales leads created per month and a 26% higher deal win rate. It shows no method, sample or date for them, so treat them as vendor claims. The Customer Agent on the same page is a service tool and does not apply to selling.
What do users and analysts say?
On G2, Sales Hub holds 4.4 out of 5 from about 14,000 reviews (G2, HubSpot Sales Hub reviews, read 26 October 2026). A pro from an executive assistant at a company of 50 or fewer people on 6 October 2026 reads "The sales process lives in the same system as everything else." A 1.5-star review from a marketing manager at a company of the same size on 9 October 2026 names sequences as an underused tool. Neither review mentions Breeze or AI, and both come from companies below the 50 to 1,000 range Hastings serves, so they speak to the CRM and not to the agents.
Gartner's survey of 210 chief sales officers and senior sales executives, run in January and February 2026, predicts that by 2028 AI agents will outnumber sellers by 10 to 1 and that fewer than 40% of sellers will say agents improved their productivity. Gartner also reports that leaders who overhaul data, automation and user experience are five times more likely to gain ROI from AI than those who choose quick fixes (Gartner, press release of 28 July 2026, read 26 October 2026). Both points favor the option that fits your data and your process, whichever vendor you pick.
Which options sit beside HubSpot AI?
| Option | Published price | AI it lists | Suits better |
|---|---|---|---|
| HubSpot Sales Hub | $7 to $150 per seat per month, plus credits | Prospecting Agent, Smart Deal Progression, agent builder | Teams already on HubSpot CRM with an administrator |
| Clay | Launch from $167 a month billed annually, or $185 billed monthly | Actions and data credits to build enrichment and prospecting workflows | Operations-minded teams that build their own workflows from many data sources |
| Pipedrive | $14 to $79 per seat per month, billed annually | AI report creation and meeting intelligence on Lite; multi-email tools on Premium | Small to mid-size teams that want a simple pipeline CRM at lower seat prices |
| Attio | $0 to $99 per user per month; Pro is $79 billed annually | Credits for AI features and workflows; call intelligence | Teams that want a flexible data model with AI built in |
| Zoho CRM with Zia (pricing) | Zoho CRM Plus from $20 per user per month; edition prices did not load | AI agents listed under Professional; extended AI under Enterprise | Cost-conscious teams and teams that already use other Zoho apps |
| Hastings | EUR 10,000 setup once, then from EUR 4,500 a month for a 90-day pilot | Agents run by a senior team on jobs you pick; a person approves each item | Companies of 50 to 1,000 people that want the work run for them |
Prices are list prices at the read date and change. Apollo is left out because its pricing page showed plan names with no prices when we read it. Outreach and Salesloft are not covered here.
How should you choose?
Start from who will do the work. A seat-priced tool gives your team capabilities and asks them to configure, test and govern agents. A managed service delivers outputs and asks your team to approve them. Three questions separate the cases.
Who owns configuration? If an administrator has time to build and tune agents, HubSpot, Attio or Zoho put the control in your hands. If nobody does, a tool sits half-configured. Who watches cost? Credit-metered products reward a person who checks usage weekly and set the spend limit on day one. What does a good month look like? Agree one measure before you buy, such as held meetings or opportunities created, and test against it for 90 days on one segment.
Where does Hastings fit?
Hastings sells a managed service, so it has a stake in this comparison. A senior team from Renaissance Group runs agreed jobs from a library of use cases, such as prospects worth calling and outreach drafts, and delivers finished work into your email, chat, CRM and documents for a person on your team to approve. Pricing is a one-time EUR 10,000 setup and then EUR 4,500 a month for a 90-day pilot with two jobs, EUR 6,000 a month for up to three jobs on a 12-month term, and higher plans for more jobs (Hastings pricing, read 26 October 2026). Its pricing page says the work arrives in your email, chat, CRM and documents, so ask in a working session how your CRM fits.

Questions buyers ask
Is HubSpot Breeze worth it for a B2B sales team?
It fits teams that already use HubSpot CRM and have an administrator for agent setup. The Agent Hub comes with every Sales Hub edition, and many agents consume credits, so the open cost is credit use (HubSpot, read 26 October 2026).
How much does HubSpot Sales Hub cost?
HubSpot lists $7 and $20 per seat per month for Starter, $90 and $100 for Professional and $150 for Enterprise. Professional and Enterprise carry required onboarding fees of $1,500 and $3,500 (HubSpot pricing, read 26 October 2026).
What are HubSpot Credits?
Credits meter the AI features and agents. Each edition includes a monthly allowance, extra credits cost $0.010 each and unused credits expire at the end of the period (HubSpot pricing, knowledge base, read 26 October 2026).
What is a good HubSpot AI alternative for a mid-market company?
It depends on who does the work. Pipedrive, Attio and Zoho are CRMs with AI built in, Clay is a workflow builder, and a managed service such as Hastings runs the work for you. The table above compares them on published prices.
Can Hastings work with HubSpot?
Hastings delivers finished work into your email, chat, CRM and documents, according to its pricing page. Ask which CRM actions your jobs need and confirm HubSpot support in a working session before you commit.
What should we test before choosing?
One segment, 90 days, and one measure agreed up front, such as held meetings or opportunities created. Record every cost, including seats, credits, onboarding and the time your team spends configuring and approving.
